Laugh and Let Lockdown
In these strange and scary times, Murder Mysteries seem very insignificant. Obviously, we have had all our gigs cancelled for the foreseeable future, and it is costing us a lot in lost revenue, but we are safe and well, which is much more important.
We hope all our friends, fans, actors and business partners are doing the same. Following the rules, staying at home and protecting the NHS. We will all get through this, and we will meet again on the other side.
However, we wanted to find a way to find new customers, reach out to our existing fans, and for me, find something to focus on and stay creative. So, during lockdown, I have live streamed two one man Murder mysteries on our Facebook page, where we also requested donations for our favourite charity, Manchester Mind. I performed two of our most popular shows, Goldzimmer and Game of Groans, playing all 7 characters in both! You can read reviews on the latter here:
We have also launched our first ever play at home kit, The Late Gatsby, which is completely isolation friendly and can be played over video conferencing software. It is available on Etsy to buy as a download, and there will be more to come.
I look forward to seeing you all on the other side of this.
Stay safe, stay at home, stay 2 meters away from me!
